WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

My name is Patinya. I was born in Chiang Mai Thailand in 1975.

I attended the Chiang Mai Art College and after I finished my studies, I began my apprenticeship in famous thailand art gallery, which was ran by a famous Thai painter. He taught me the secrets of charcoal painting, and since than  I have been charmed by this technique.

Charcoal painting methods allow me to transform a simple image, photo or portrait in a unique everlasting work of art.

For more than a decade I had worked in several art galleries all over Thailand where I established myself as a well known artist in Charcoal paintings. My greatest satisfaction is to see the face of peoples light up when I present them with their finished drawing.

I put a lot of feeling and take great pride in my work as I always try to meet the diverse needs of my customers and I am eager to do the same for you.

For my painting I use Chinese brush, specially blended charcoal powder and good quality paper. I brush gentle layers of charcoal powder which blend with the paper creating a life lasting work with no fading or smudging that timelessly portrays its subjects.

I have recently moved to Perth, Australia and have settle down in this wonderful place where I can combine my love for art with the other loves of my life.

I am a member of the Artist Foundation of WA Artsource and take part of several art Award and Exhibitions throughout the year.

If you want the opportunity to transform your image in a unique piece of art or make a wonderful gift, please feel free to browse my web site pages and contact me if you need to know more details and information.

“A portrait or a reproduction is something special because this has been made by a human being not a machine.

Is a kind of natural act because our image has been filtered by  artist’s mind, whom can catch the distinctive features that most belong to us, bringing them back with skilful art on a piece of paper, accentuating and caring with passion every tiny detail that strike his/her feelings.

A portrait is a gesture of love toward you and the loved ones, but why not to a pet, landscape or object which is particularly well beloved to you.”
